Welcome to my site, a melting pot of sports massage, yoga and Pilates all devised to keep your mind and body in optimum condition, through my own Body Mechanics sessions and my all encompassing RISE philosophy.
Since graduating from UWIC in BSc (Hons) Sports Science and pursuing a career spanning over 25 years in my specialised field, I have been privileged to have worked and studied in various locations across the globe, learning new techniques in a variety of schools and cultures and working with fantastic people along the way...
I have worked with a wide spectrum of people including professional sports players; musicians; dancers; people with chronic conditions and blossoming mothers to be.

Clincal Sports Massage...
As a body mechanic, I work with muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia to alleviate pain, stress and tension held in the body. Using soft tissue manipulation to repair damaged tissue, muscle fibres can start to relax and return back to an optimal state.
Some of the techniques that are used are:
- deep tissue massage
- trigger point therapy
- myofascial release
On your initial visit, I will chat with you about your past history and assess what is the right treatment for you. I will always be dedicated to try and identify the root of the problem, testing muscle and nerve function where needed and of course, alleviate the symtoms the best I can.
Following your treatment and always having empathy with your lifestyle, I encourage you to adopt a home treatment plan and injury prevention plan whenever possible. Active rehabilitation is always preferable in injury recovery.
If I feel you would be better treated by another practitioner, I will offer a suitable referral in your area.

You don't have to be sporty to gain the benefits of sports massage. People with everyday aches and pains of all ages and from all walks of life find huge benefits and often life changing results after a treatment.
£40 for 60 mins (including first consultation).
£60 for 90 mins full body MOT.
£20 for 30 mins specific injury.

Pregnancy massage offers all of the benefits of other massage techniques but special consideration is taken to ensure the comfort of an expectant mum and the safety of her developing baby.
I include techniques which are more suitable, especially during heavy pregnancy, such as side-lying, but do not compromise the therapeutic benefits of the massage.
I continue to treat patients post-natal where massage continues to offer well-needed support.
This may include helping to combat the consequences of disturbed sleep, awkward posture during breast-feeding or carrying and picking up the new baby.

Yoga is a mind and body practice, a philosophy or way of life with historical origins in ancient India. Most yoga in the West can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha means 'willful' or 'forceful' it is the practice of all physical yoga which include Iyengar, Ashtanga, Power, Vinyasa practices.
Hatha Flow: Hatha Flow offers a dynamic, energising class that synchronises breath with movement. It is designed to align, strengthen and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for pranayama and meditation.
This is suitable for all and modifications always given
This class is not suitable during pregnancy.

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates called his method "Contrology" and classes are based on nine principles: Breathing; Concentration; Control; Centering; Flow; Postural Alignment; Precision; Stamina; and Relaxation.
My classes are based on these principles and are beneficial for all levels, ages and abilities.
